Horry County Police charged Ronald Lee Wise, 31, of Conway with Unlawful Neglect of a Child after a 10-year-old girl and two other children were left home alone Friday.
Officers were called to a home off Kimberly Drive Friday evening, according to a police report.
A 10 year-old girl had gone to a neighbor's house because she had been left home alone for an hour and was scared. She was at the home for a holiday visit and released to her legal guardian, the report says.
There were empty beer cans inside the home and two other children, ages 5 and 8, were involved, according to the report.
The 10-year-old also had bruising on her arm, according to the report.
Wise is being held under a charge of Unlawful Neglect of a Child or Helpless Person by a Legal Custodian at J. Reuben Long Detention Center. His bond is $10,000.
