All lanes of Interstate 20 in Darlington County have re-opened Tuesday night after a bomb squad investigated possible explosive devices.

Darlington County Deputies stopped Andrew Jackson for a traffic violation and arrested him after finding drugs in the car, according to Captain Andy Locklair.

Locklair said they learned Jackson was wanted for Desertion out of Fort Eustis in Virginia.

After a search, deputies found what they believed might have been explosive devices inside the vehicle, according to Locklair. It was later determined the devices were jugs of gasoline.

Jackson is now facing drug charges and is being held at the Darlington County Detention Center for the military.
