The South Florence Bruins season came to an end on Thursday night at Memorial Stadium as the Bluffton Bobcats scored a convincing 37-13 win in the first round of the Class 4A Division II Playoffs.  Bluffton head coach Ken Cribb returned to the Pee Dee to score the victory over the team he used to coach.  After a scoreless first quarter, KJ Ford scored from short range to give Bluffton a 7-0 advantage.  Tykeem Major had the big play of the first half with a 64 yard run down to the one yard line.  That led to Shameik Blackshear scoring from a yard out to make it 14-0.  Bluffton took a 20-0 lead at the half on CJ Frazier's short TD pass to Gerald Robinson.

Shrine Bowler Fabian Jefferson scored on a 15 yard TD pass from Josh Johnson for the Bruins first points of the game.  Running back Rodney Brunson closed out the scoring with a 13 yard touchdown run.  South Florence finishes the season with a 7-5 record.  Bluffton advances to face the winner of Goose Creek and Conway.
