Lake City's Shon Carson has suffered his second major injury as a collegian. The University of South Carolina running back injured his left wrist during Friday's practice. Carson underwent surgery on Monday at Palmetto Hospital. Carson tore his ACL ligament in the second game of the 2011 season against Georgia and missed the remainder of the year. Carson won WPDE's Zoneman Trophy in 2010.
In addition, senior defensive back Akeem Auguste suffered a thigh injury during Saturday's scrimmage and is expected out of action for four to five weeks.
