New Green Sea-Floyds Head Coach Tony Sullivan has a type A personality. That may be just what the Trojans need to wake up from a 2011 season that saw them win only three games. The big key to the offense will be 230 pound QB Devante Dawkins. He has a strong arm and speedy receivers in his arsenal. The tale of GSF's season will come down to a defense that gave up more than 31 points a game last year.
Rich's Thoughts
A big blow for the Trojans in preseason with the loss of Rashad Bessant. The senior was expected to be the featured back in the GSF offense, but is out for the year with a broken leg. It's always sad to see young men who work so hard and have their season taken away by injury. Rashad had a real shot at making the All-Zone team and I feel for the young man. I hope he has a speedy recovery and gets back on the football field as a collegian.
