Hags Thoughts
Lake View was devastated by graduation after making an appearance in the 1A State Championship. The Wild Gators lost their entire offensive line and seven starters are gone off the defense. RB/LB Darius Leonard and QB/DB Chris Ford return to guide the 2012 team. Lake View will plug in younger players into their never changing schemes and work to get them ready to win by the time region play rolls around.
Rich's Thoughts
I was very impressed by Chris Ford at Media Day. He was one of the best interviews we heard. He's going to pursue baseball in college, but he's got one more season running the Wild Gators offense to take care of first. Darius Leonard reminds me so much of Quandon Christian and Anthony Waters. Whatever school gets him, will find his frame expand and he'll keep his speed.
