Hags Thoughts
Andrews will be hard pressed to improve on last year's 8-4 record. Only eight players are in the 2012 senior class. Half of last year's starters have graduated. Speedster RB Jaleel Filmore will be the cornerstone of the Yellow Jackets offense. Ethan Wright takes over the QBsd chores. His development along with filling some holes on defense will determine Andrews success or failure.
Rich's Thoughts
I'm excited to see Jaleel Filmore play. He's the kind of guy that isn't getting a lot of hype, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him in our A&I Top 5 Plays this yaer. Not only does he have 4.39 speed in the 40, he's a two time state weightlifting champ in his weight class. Big kudos to coach Blanchard who has come in and clearly put his stamp on the program. This year may be a rebuilding year, but I think the program is on very firm ground thanks to coach Blanchard.
