Two time Olympian Amber Campbell of Myrtle Beach continues her daily updates from the Olympic Village in London. In her third Olympic Diary entry, Campbell shows us where she had her final practice to prepare for Wednesday's women's hammer throw competition at Olympic Stadium. Campbell also spoke with two of her US track teammates who will be throwing in the javelin.
Campbell finished 21st in the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing, China. On Wednesday morning at 5:00am local time, Campbell will get three throws in the qualifying round. The top 12 finishers from the two groups will advance to Friday's final. The former CCU All-American won the hammer throw at the US Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon to make Team USA for the second straight time.
