Hags Thoughts

The Wilson Tigers are under new management with Chad Eaddy in command. He's a lifetime Tiger both as a player and assistant coach. Justin Evans is a division one prospect who anchors a solid offensive line. That together with an experienced QB in Raekwon McCall, a solid receiving corps and talented running backs Gaquan Maize and Devin Borden should make the Tigers tough to stop. Sack leader Jerrell Timmons returns on a defensive line that averages over 300 pounds. Wilson has all the elements for a championship season.

Rich's Thoughts

Gaquan Maize dropped Galbreath from his last name and I'm confident he'll make a name for himself no matter what his surname is.  Keep an eye on Devin Borden as well - if he stays healthy, he should be a breakout star.  He looked good when I saw him at Doug Shaw Stadium against Myrtle Beach in 2011.  You'll be hard pressed to find a bigger defensive line than the Tigers and I hear there are a number of youngsters who are going to be Pee Dee giants down the road.  I was impressed with Coach Eaddy and from the brief time I saw the players at Media Day, it seems as if the Tigers are united and there won't be a drastic transition from the end of the Darryl Page era.
