The South Carolina Gamecocks elimination game with the Kent State Golden Flashes at the College World Series has been postponed until Thursday at noon EST because of rain at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska. The game can be seen on ESPN2.
The winner of the game on Thurday afternoon will face the Arkansas Razorbacks later that night at 9 p.m. The winner will have to beat the Razorbacks twice to reach the CWS finals.
The Gamecocks have announced that senior left-hander Michael Roth (8-1) will start on the mound against Kent State.
