Daniel Morris has signed to play football at Charleston Southern.

Socastee High kicker Daniel Morris has signed a college letter of intent to play at Charleston Southern this fall. Morris played football, soccer and ran cross country for the Braves.

He missed most of his senior season with a back injury. His junior year, he earned Class 3A All-Region honors after making 20 of 22 extra points. He also booted three field goals in four tries with a long of 37 yards.

Morris is an excellent directional kicker on kickoffs according to Socastee head coach Tim Renfrow. In soccer, Morris scored 19 goals during his last two seasons with the Braves.
