Former WPDE All-Zone football star Ryan Quigley has signed a three year NFL contract with the Chicago Bears. Quigley was one of only seven players signed by the Bears out of a three-day rookie minicamp.
Quigley was a kicker and punter at North Myrtle Beach High. He played the last four seasons kicking off and punting for the Boston College Eagles. Last year, Quigley was fourth in the nation with 28 punts inside the 20 yard line.
The Little River, South Carolina native is Boston College's career punting record holder with 283 attempts. He was named ACC specialist of the week twice during his senior season.
