The Myrtle Beach Pelicans have seen 90 of its former players make it to the major leagues. Now in its second year affiliated with the Texas Rangers, Grand Strand baseball fans are seeing the future of the defending American League Champions. 3rd baseman Christain Villanueva is one of the top names on the 2012 Myrtle Beach Pelicans roster.
Villanueva had his best game as a Pelican on Tuesday night, driving in 3 runs in the Birds 10-4 win over Winston-Salem.
