The Myrtle Beach Seahawks are winless after two games at the Beach Ball Classic. On Thursday, St. Edward from Lakewood, Ohio defeated Myrtle Beach 88-71 in a consolation game at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

St. Edward led by six at halftime. The Eagles then shot 61 percent over the final 16 minutes to pull away. St. Edwards was paced by Mark Murray's 22 points.

Myrtle Beach was led by E.J. Goings with 22 points and Tramond Wilson with 21 points. The Seahawks now have a 6-5 record following losses to Lone Peak (UT) and St. Edward. Myrtle Beach will play at noon on Saturday against Lexington to conclude their participation at Beach Ball.
