Two time WPDE Zoneman winner Everett Golson is set to take the national stage for the first time as a collegian. Golson will get extensive work at quarterback in Notre Dame's spring game. Coach Brian Kelly doesn't exepect to play veterans Dayne Crist and Tommy Rees outside of a couple of series on Saturday. That sets the stage for Golson and rising sophomore Andrew Hedrix to get the majority of snaps. Crist and Rees will be no contact when they are in the game, while Golson and Hedrix will be in full contact mode.

Local fans can watch Golson this Saturday at 2pm during the nationally televised scrimmage on Versus.

Golson graduated early from Myrtle Beach high and enrolled in South Bend in January. He was an original commitment to North Carolina, but changed his pledge to the Fighting Irish after the NCAA's investigation in Chapel Hill.
