The Saint James Sharks advanced to the 3A state semifinals in wrestling with a 35-30 win over Battery Creek on Monday night in Murrells Inlet.  Nuji Holmes, who was a defensive star for the Saint James football team, scored a pin in the heavyweight division to give the Sharks a quarterfinal win.  At 119 pounds, Kyle Tecco scored a 9-7 win over Joey Kasper-Little.  Jamie Bolduc, ranked #1 in the state at 130 pounds, looked impressive scoring a pin on Wayne Cook at 1:34.

Coach Matt Anderson's team will host 2nd ranked Chapin on Wednesday night at 6pm.  The winner advances to the 3A state championship on Saturday at Dreher HS in Columbia.
