The Murrells Inlet American Legion team advanced to the state tournament in Columbia with a 3-2 win over Goose Creek on Monday night at Saint James high school.  Nick Hotzelt had the game winning hit in the 13th inning to give MI a trip to the state tourney.  That begins on Friday night in Columbia.
