Myrtle Beach quarterback Everett Golson became the second two time WPDE Zoneman Winner when he was announced as the 10th Zoneman winner at the Holiday Inn West on December 10th. Golson received 23 first place votes and was on 33 of 40 ballots. Lake City running back Shon Carson received 10 first place votes to finish in second overall with Marlboro County quarterback Elliott Alford finishing in third. Golson is a junior and will try for a third straight Zoneman trophy in his senior season.
The 10th annual Chevy End Zone banquet airs on Sunday, December 13th at 3:00 pm. The one hour special features all 65 players on this year's NC and SC All-Zone teams as well as the presentation of the 10th Zoneman Trophy.
At 2:30 pm, WPDE Sports airs the North/South Mister Football special. The 30 minute show features highlights of Saturday's North South game as well as profiles of the five finalists for South Carolina Mister Football along with the presentation.
