Turnover is common in college football coaching, but Coastal Carolina's staff has virtually stayed intact for its first eight years - until now.  Following a 5-6 season, three CCU assistants will not have their contracts renewed.

Offensive line coach Jamie Snider was CCU's first offensive coordinator and shifted to work exclusively on the offensive line and coached four FCS All-Americans.  Snider has been on the sidelines with David Bennett for 18 years.  Defensive line coach Antoine Rivens has been working on the CCU defensive staff since its inception as well as wide receivers coach Hunter Spivey.  The Conway native helped Jerome Simpson become a second round NFL draft pick.

David Bennett told WPDE Sports that it was one of the toughest days he's ever had as a coach and thanked all three men for help building Coastal Carolina football.
