Coastal Carolina 9 Wake Forest 4

The Chanticleers scored four runs in the 7th and four more in the 8th to come from behind to beat the Demon Deacons on Tuesday.  CCU has now won 10 in a row and their fifth straight game in five days.  Steve Davis went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI for the Chants, while Rico Noel, Tommy La Stella and senior Adam Rice had two hits apiece.  The Chants are 12-1 on the season and will return to action on Friday, March 12 against  Illinois in the Caravelle Resort Classic.  First pitch is at 4 p.m.

South Carolina 12 Valparaiso 4

The Gamecocks erupted for 10 runs in the 3rd inning to rout Valparaiso 12-4 on Tuesday night.  Whitt Merrifield upped his hitting streak to 25 games.  USC hosts Valpo on Wedensday at 2pm.
