2007 ZONEMAN BALLOTING Myrtle Beach gets first Zoneman Winner
Myrtle Beach linebacker Bruce Taylor has won WPDE's top football award presented on Thursday, December 6th, 2007 at the Holiday Inn West in Myrtle Beach. Taylor, a commitment to Virginia Tech, narrowly topped Hartsville wide receiver Jordan Lyles by two points in the balloting. It ties the closest finish in Zoneman history. Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons won the 2003 Zoneman by two points over Lake View's Vernell Jones. Dillon QB Damien Sowells finished third.
