Saturday, October 01, 2011  The Clemson Tigers upset the Virginia Tech Hokies 23-3 at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia on Saturday. Andre Ellington broke a 3-3 tie with a 1-yard TD run in the second quarter. Tajh Boyd iced the game with a 32-yard TD strike to Dwayne Allen in the third quarter. Mike Bellamy added a 31 yard TD run to complete the scoring for Clemson.
