The Florence Maple Park all-stars will play in the Dixie Youth Majors (11-12) World Series this weekend. Maple Park won the South Carolina state championship in Cheraw on Sunday with a 16-6 win over Turbeville. Maple Park advances to the Dixie Youth Majors world series to play Georgia in round one on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Carthage, North Carolina.
