Saturday, April 27, 2013  WPDE All-Zone selection Malliciah Goodman, who played high school football at West Florence High, was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in round 4 of the NFL Draft on Saturday.

Sunday, April 21, 2013  College Baseball: South Carolina beat Kentucky 3-1, Miami beat Clemson 7-0, and Radford beat Coastal Carolina 5-2.

Saturday, April 20, 2013  College Baseball: South Carolina took both games of a double-header against Kentucky 5-2 and 7-6 in 11 innings. Miami beat Clemson 2-1. Coastal Carolina beat Radford in the completion of a suspended game 1-0 in 15 innings. In the regularly scheduled game, Radford beat CCU 4-3.
