A team of officers from the Horry County Sheriff's Office, Horry County Police Department, South Carolina Highway Patrol, and Conway Police Department conducted a two-day drug operation in Conway this week.

The operation was focused on the Huckabee Heights, Darden Terrace and 9th Avenue areas.

Between 6:00 p.m. and midnight Wednesday and Thursday, officers handed out 198 enforcement contacts, which is like a written warning, for a variety of offenses. 

They issued 50 citations, including 18 for drug violations.

They seized $800, arrested 11 people, and served four outstanding warrants.
