State police raided two Dillon County businesses Wednesday in search of illegal gaming machines.

Agents confiscated 18 machines from Save Mart on Highway 9 West, according to Thom Berry with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

Thursday, we reported that Berry said $19,951 in cash was seized from the business. Berry corrected that information Friday, saying $2,951 was seized.

Agents also raided Bailey's Grocery on Highway 302 South. They confiscated four video gaming machines, according to Berry.

The raids are a part of SLED's ongoing efforts to rid the state of what the SC Attorney General has deemed illegal.
