Florence County deputies arrested David Damond Singletary, 19, of Lake City Monday and charged him with Attempted Murder and Pointing and Presenting a Firearm following an incident at a home in Lake City.

On January 10, Singletary got into an argument with the victim on Eugene Street and Rae Streets.

Singletary pulled a handgun and shot at the victim numerous times, according to investigators.

The victim was able to run away without being struck by the gunfire.

Singletary is being held at the Florence County Detention Center on a $16,000.00 surety bond.
