If you know of a senior citizen who volunteers in their community, you can nominate them for an award.

The Salute to Senior Service program honors adults 65-years-old and older who give at least 15 hours a month of volunteer service.

Home Instead senior care will donate $500 to each of the state winner's favorite non-profit organizations.

Nominations will be accepted February 1 through March 31.

Online voting is set for April 15 to April 30.

Nominations can be filled out at SalutetoSeniorService.com or mailed to Salute to Senior Service, P.O. Box 285, Bellevue, NE 68005.
