CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) - Dr. L. Bradford Courtney died Friday morning at his home. Dr. Courtney cared for generations of children at Conway Pediatrics for more than 48 years.

He's survived by his wife and eight children, including daughter Alys Lawson who serves as the mayor of Conway.

His funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Kingston Presbyterian Church.

Dr. Courtney was 77.
