Conway woman pleads guilty to counterfeiting scheme in Lake City

Kamesha Daniele Dolly, 28, of Conway pleaded guilty in federal court in Florence to Conspiracy to Make, Possess, and Pass Counterfeit Federal Reserve Notes.
Dolly was involved in the making, possessing, and passing of counterfeit Federal Reserve Notes from July 2010 until March 2012 in the Lake City area. When investigators searched her home, they found counterfeit money.
She faces up to a $250,000 fine and/or a five year prison sentence, plus a special assessment of $100.
The case was investigated by the Lake City Police Department and agents of the United States Secret Service.
United States District Judge R. Bryan Harwell of Florence accepted the plea and will impose sentence after he has reviewed the presentence report which will be prepared by the U.S. Probation Office.
