A man wanted in connection with the burglary of six microwave ovens and some tools was arrested Saturday.

Ted Williams Perdue, 43, was arrested in connection with a burglary at the Sea Horn Motel on Tuesday.

According to a police report, a man who was working on the elevators in the motel called police and showed them several rooms where the sliding glass doors had been shattered and the hotel doors were open.

The report says a microwave was stolen in each of the rooms that had been broken into except one.

Police say Perdue also took several tools that were being used to by the elevator construction crew.

Perdue is being held on eight counts of burglary and being held on no bond.

The police report says Perdue is a security guard for a local bar.
