Fire started in a wall of the Courtyard Apartments on Burcale Road in Horry County about 4 p.m. Friday, according to Assistant Chief Scott Thompson.

Firefighters evacuated the building.

They cut a vent hole in the ceiling, trying to put the fire out.

So far, no one has been hurt.

A few of the apartments were damaged.
