Minor flooding occurred in Cherry Grove, North Myrtle Beach, Garden City, and Pawleys Island Thursday morning.

High tide at 8:26 a.m. combined with prolonged northeast wind pushing water ashore caused the flooding.

A Flood Advisory was issued but has since expired.

These areas may see this minor flooding again around 8 p.m. this evening during the next high tide.
