Agents with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation arrested Crystal Gail Locklear for Murder Monday, according to Robeson County Sheriff Kenneth Sealey.

She killed Timothy Ray McCutchen at a home on Highway 130 near Maxton on September 13, Sheriff Sealey says.

McCutchen died as a result of blunt force trauma.

Locklear was an acquaintance of McCutchen. Deputies are still investigating a motive.

Locklear is being held in the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
