Pat Gibson Hye-Moore, a candidate for Florence School District One's school board says she, along with other Florence residents, are frustrated with the voting districts.

In some instances people who live in the same house are voting in different districts, Hye-Moore said.

The wrong map was used in 2008 and 2010, and resulted in about 800 people in the Glendale community not voting in the elections, according to Hye-Moore.

She says the Florence County Voter Registration Office  is not responding to her about the problem.

"I asked to speak with the director, he's too busy. Well, he shouldn't be too busy to speak with the tax payers of Florence. The commissioners they need to step up to the plate and make sure this gets right," Moore said.

The Florence County Election Commission says Moore's accusations are simply not true and there are no problems with the map.
