Eugene Baynard, 54, of Myrtle Beach, was arrested by Myrtle Beach police on Thursday for a sexual assault that happened on Wednesday.

A woman says Baynard sexually assaulted her after she fell asleep in a bedroom in his home off Nance Street in Myrtle Beach, according to a police report.

The report says the victim claims she went to Baynard's home with a friend, and drank two alcoholic beverages. She says she became intoxicated, and Baynard told her to sleep in a back bedroom according to the report.

She says she went to bed fully clothed, but woke up to Baynard sexually assaulting her.
