Horry County rescue crews responded to an accident involving a pick-up truck and two Horry County school buses around 7:30 a.m. on Highway 707 near Big Block Road.
The two buses were stopped in traffic on Highway 707, when a woman pulled onto 707 from Big Block Road, lost control on the wet pavement and sideswiped the buses, according to Lance Corporal Sonny Collins with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Collins says the damage to all vehicles was minor.
The driver of the pick-up was cited for driving too fast for conditions and driving without a South Carolina drivers license.
Horry County Schools spokeswoman Teal Britton says there were 51 students on the two buses, some headed to the Scholars Academy at Coastal Carolina University and some headed to Early College High School at Horry Georgetown Technical College.
Two of the students heading to the Early College High School were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The buses were able to be driven from the accident scene to drop the students off at their schools.
