Conway Medical Center Employee Giving Campaign started at the beginning of September and on Thursday they held the campaigns kickoff party.

For the next four weeks, employees will be giving whatever they can back to the hospital.

Employee's hold this event each year to raise money for various projects, like health outreach and nursing scholarships.

Last year, they exceeded the goal of $60,000. This year, they hope to reach $70,000.

The Executive Director of the Conway Medical Center Foundation, Berns Massey, says that it's "important for them to be able to fund the programs that they support."

Thursday's kickoff event included food, entertainment from Legends in Concert, and our very own Chief Meteorologist Ed Piotrowski was the Master of Ceremonies.
