A weekend of events is planned to help a woman who was hurt while trying to help someone else.

Brenda Williams was seriously hurt when she tried to stop a purse snatching at a K-Mart parking lot in November of 2009.

Friday, you can enjoy food and music for $10 at B's Lounge in Conway.

On Saturday, there will be a motorcycle charity ride from the K-Mart shopping center at 10 a.m. This event is $5 a person.

At the end of the weekend, on Sunday, Poplar Sportsman Club is hosting a Sunday night social for $10.

All of the proceeds will help the Williams family.
