Donald Freeman, of Bennettsville, pleaded guilty to Voluntary Manslaughter Wednesday for a deadly motel stabbing in May of 2011.

Officers say Freeman got into an argument with the victim, Charlie McCall, at the motel.

After he was stabbed, McCall managed to walk to a nearby room where someone called 911.

McCall died 30 minutes later at the hospital.
