A homeless woman faces a charge of Unlawful Neglect of a Child and her 5-month-old was put in protective custody.

Myrtle Beach Police say Shawna Lemley, 40, was living at a homeless shelter on Campbell Street. Others there say she threatened to kill herself and her baby.

They say she also rammed the child's stroller into the walls.

Lemley denied the allegations.
