A heat advisory will be in effect until 8pm again today with dangerously hot and humid conditions expected. High temps will hit the low 90s by the Beaches and upper 90s Inland with the heat index(or feels like temperature) peaking over 105° for several hours this afternoon. Take necessary precautions to stay cool and hydrated, keep an eye on your neighbors, and make sure you pets have a way to stay cool and hydrated as well! Another round of isolated storms will pop up this afternoon, with a few strong storms possible. You can track the storms on First Alert Live Doppler 15000 or if you have an iPhone or Android make sure you download or app! High pressure remains in control to our west over the weekend keeping the area unseasonably hot and humid until next week when a cold front approaches.  Hail and strong winds would be the main threats. Storms this weekend will be few and far between but next weeks cold front will bring a better chance for rain.  The tropics at this point remain fairly quiet. You can always keep up with the latest on the tropics on the Hurricane Central page.
