A motorcyclist died in a crash about 7:30 Wednesday night in the Loris area of Horry County.

According to the Horry Country Deputy Coroner, Tony Hendricks, Thaddeus Anthony Moore, 38, from Green Sea died from multiple blunt force trauma at the scene of the crash.

South Carolina Highway Patrol says Moore was on a 2007 Suzuki heading north on Airport Road when he ran off the left side, hit a ditch, and was thrown off the motorcycle.

The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.

The crash is still under investigation.
