Thursday Forecast

High pressure off the East coast will continue to bring in a much warmer airmass to the Carolinas. Highs will hit the mid-80s along the coast with 90s expectred Inland. The high will drift over Florida over the next few days keeping the heat around, but also allow a few of the disturbances that have been passing well to our north to drop closer to the area over the weekend. This will bring in a slight chance for a few showers and storms in the afternoon. We'll see the temps return closer to average next week with upper 70s and low 80s back in the forecast.

Today: Mostly sunny skies and hotter  Highs- Grand Strand:Mid 80s, Inland: Low 90s

Tonight: Partly cloudy with a chance for a shower or storm. Lows: Low/Mid 60s.

Friday: Mostly sunny skies and hot. Slight chance for an Inland storm in the afternoon  Highs- Grand Strand:Mid 80s, Inland: Low 90s
