Georgetown County Deputy Coroner Sam Hodge says a woman, whose body was found by walkers on Litchfield Beach Saturday morning, has been identified. A spokesman with the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office says the woman is Patsy Martin, 77. Hodge does not suspect a crime in Martin's death.

Hodge says the Pawleys Island woman was elderly and had health issues.

Police say they got a call before 7:00 a.m. Saturday. The body was located in front of the Bridgewater Condos in the Litchfield By the Sea Community of Georgetown County.
