Florence County Sheriff's deputies say a man was shot on Pindo Lane in North Florence, just after 7 p.m. Thursday.

Captain Michael Nunn says the victim was taken to the hospital in a car by someone.

Nunn says his condition has not been released.

Investigators are following all leads to track down a suspect.
