Construction on a runway at Niagara Falls International Airport has caused Spirit Airlines to cancel flights between Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Myrtle Beach from May 15 to June 20, according to a news release.
Flights between Niagara Falls and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., also are cancelled from May 15 to June 30, according to the release.
"We apologize for the inconvenience that this causes our customers and we look forward to resuming our Niagara Falls service as soon as the runway construction project is complete," said Jake Filene, Spirit's Vice President Airport Services.
This announcement comes one day after Spirit Airlines announced it's Summer Schedule out of Myrtle Beach International.
