A South Carolina Law Enforcement Division agent accidentally shot himself in the hand Tuesday morning.

He has been treated and released from the hospital.

SLED was training at the Florence County Sheriff's Office firing range on Pound Lane when the agent accidentally discharged his gun and shot himself in the hand.

The agent's name isn't being released at this time.
