Deputies with the Florence County Sheriff's Office searched for a burglary suspect near the Rail Trail off of David McLeod Boulevard Tuesday.

Sneed Middle School and Kings Academy were locked down because they were near where deputies where searching.

West Florence cancelled its baseball and softball games for the afternoon.

Officers say the suspect broke into a home on Hillcrest Circle in the Botany Drive subdivision and are still searching for the suspect.
