Computer skills put some Horry-Georgetown Technical College students to the top of their class.

The computer science technology department just returned from a computer troubleshooting and networking competition in San Antonio, TX.

Clinton Johnson ranked second in the nation on a key skills test called the Microsoft Technology Associate Certification . Jeremiah Farley scored third in a network design competition. Christine Keasler and Clinton Johnson scored second in a graphics communications contest.

"There was 538 students and 77 schools, so for a two year college like HGTC to place 2nd and 3rd in the nation is pretty awesome," said Christine Keasler, senior.

Students were also able to earn multiple certifications.
